AEEJ Journal Provides International Article Writing Training for Lecturers and Reviewers

Padang-After successfully implementing article writing training for students majoring in Automotive Engineering UNP, AEEJ Journal is back to carrying out a scientific arithicle writing training program. The difference is, this time the training is aimed at AEEJ lecturers and reviewers. This training activity was held on Saturday, October 12, 2019 in the PPG lecture room, majoring in Automotive Engineering FT-UNP.

A total of approximately 18 lecturers and prospective AEEJ journal reviewers participated in this training activity. Mr. Wawan Purwanto, S.Pd., M.T., Ph.D who has experience in writing international articles and is also one of the reviewers of the INVOTEK journal which has been indexed by Sinta 3 acted as a resource for this activity.

Wawan Purwanto, S.Pd., M.T., Ph.D. convey that an important point in international article writing is how we convey the idea or purpose of our research in a clear or “to-the-point” and easy to understand. In addition, reading more articles from international journals will also enrich your insights in writing and reviewing scientific articles. This is an important asset for lecturers and prospective AEEJ journal reviewers in later reviewing articles / articles that will be published in AEEJ journals.

This activity is a continuation of the journal grant program obtained by the Automotive Engineering Education Journals. The AEEJ journal plans to adopt an international journal writing method so that it requires reviewers who are familiar with and understand the ins and outs of writing international articles. It aims to prepare AEEJ journal index submissions. The first step of the AEEJ Journal is to target to be able to get accreditation for sinta, so that AEEJ journals can be elevated to become a reputable national journal.
